Stoddard Living Center
Daniel K. Judd
The Stoddard Student Living Center and adjacent Institute of Religion of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (known collectively as the Stoddard Student Center) were dedicated in October 1975 by then-President N. Eldon Tanner. In honor of its 50th anniversary this fall, the Lansing Michigan Stake is hosting a reunion for anyone who has lived in the Living Center, studied at the institute, and worshipped with the Young Single Adult (YSA) Ward or its predecessors, and their friends and companions.
All are invited to celebrate the unique history and legacy of the Stoddard Living Center, one of the only church standards-aligned living spaces in the US outside of BYU campuses. Join us for food, tours, service, classes, reunions, and worship throughout the weekend this October 18th and 19th. Dr. Daniel K. Judd will be our guest keynote speaker, in addition to classes by several distinguished MSU professors and our Institute Director. Please see the schedule of events, attached, and scan the QR code to register for classes, tours, and events. All registered attendees will receive a 50th anniversary pin and booklet detailing the history of this treasured space.
All events are free with the exception of the Saturday evening dinner.
