Dear Members of the Lansing Michigan Stake,

It is with great pleasure that we invite you to our upcoming Stake Conference to be held on Sept 12th and 13th. We invite you to prepare to feel the love of the Savior and be taught by His Spirit.

The purpose of stake conference is to strengthen our faith in Jesus Christ by uniting joyfully as a stake of Zion and to help us find joy and peace in Him (see Doctrine and Covenants 115:6).

Presiding Authority

We are excited to have Elder Joni L. Koch, General Authority Seventy, preside over the conference and look forward to being taught by him. Here is a link to Elder Koch's leadership page for those interested in knowing more about him.

Changes to Stake Conference

Your feedback is very important to us, and we appreciate everyone who took the time to respond to our survey after our last stake conference. We’ve incorporated several of your ideas, and want to share a few of them here that we hope will be a blessing to many of you.

Child / Parent Friendly Rooms
The Primary and Nursery rooms will be broadcasting on a TV during the Leadership, Adult, and General Sessions of Stake Conference. Parents are welcome to bring their children to these rooms at any point during the conference sessions.

Digital Programs Only
Programs will be fully digital this conference. Each year we spend a significant amount of tithing funds on programs for our stake conferences. We have been slowly reducing that number over the last few years and feel we are ready to go fully digital and save those funds for other projects to bless the lives of our members. We apologize to those who prefer the paper programs. We will continue to announce the program over the pulpit for each session.

Digital Programs will be accessible on the Stake website (LansingStake.org) under the Stake Conference page shortly before the conference.

Zoom Links
We encourage everyone who can physically attend to join with us at the stake center. We feel the Spirit when we follow the Lord’s example of gathering believers together in the same space. We also understand there are many who would be blessed by having a virtual option so they can still be a part of the conference and join us in spirit when they are unable to physically. With that, we openly offer the Zoom links for the Adult and General Sessions. To obtain the Zoom link for each session, we ask that you fill out this form so we fulfill our need for accurate attendance and understand the reasons the Zoom link is being used for the future. 

If you need help filling out the form, please seek the help of your ministering brothers / sisters, friend, or family member.

Stake Leadership Meeting - 3:00 - 5:00 pm
Attendees: Stake and Unit Council members including Counselors and Secretaries

Saturday Evening Adult Session - 6:00 - 8:00 pm
Attendees: Adults 18+

Sunday, Sept 13
Youth Session - 8:00 am - 9:00 am
Attendees: Youth, Ages 11 - 18

General Session of Stake Conference - 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
Attendees: All are Invited
